History
Stephen Bolton & Associates Pty Ltd was an Australian based company formed as a specialised Audio Visual and Systems Integration company back in mid 1998 and operated successfully until August 2022 when the decision was made to cease trading.
Since its inception, SB&A focused primarily in the corporate sector, however, the company also worked within the residential market.
Our founding director Stephen Bolton had extensive experience all facets of the Audiovisual industry. For 22 years, he was heavily involved in AV production and live staging events both in Australia and around the world. The needs and expectation of the production and staging side of the AV industry was responsible for the 'show must go on' philosophy that SB&A applied to every system and installation project.
With a solid background in Audio, Film, Photography and Staging, Stephen specialised in designing and implementing Real Estate marketing 'environmental experiences' utilising sound, video, lighting, robotics and sophisticated control systems as a tool to sell high profile commercial real estate around the country and overseas in the mid '80. Projects such as Bourke Place Melbourne (now BHP Headquarters), MetroPlaza Sydney (now OPTUS Headquarters), BDNI Jakarta and Central Plaza towers in Brisbane were all projects that were created as 'on demand' and fully automated systems - always ready to operate.
Stephen's attention to design detail and implementation took these hi-tech environments and delivered them to end users in such a way that end users required little training or no support to successfully use these systems.
